Posters update: poster numbers, preparation, attended sessions and prizes

Poster presenters have now been sent further details about bringing posters to the event, including their poster number. Good luck for the poster prizes!

Scientific posters are an important part of FEBS Congresses, bringing a wide range of recent findings to the event and providing an aid to networking and discussion for delegates. Posters at the 43rd FEBS Congress will be displayed for the whole event, and attended sessions for each topic are split over the Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday; please refer to your letter and visit the Poster Guidelines page for full details. Note also that there is an opportunity to print posters locally.

In recognition of the contribution of posters to the event, 'Poster of the Day' mini-prizes for outstanding posters at the 43rd FEBS Congress will be awarded by The FEBS Journal, FEBS Letters, Molecular Oncology and FEBS Open Bio. From a shortlist of posters chosen by journal editors on the basis of submitted abstracts, a panel of jurors will view the displayed posters and talk to the presenters. They will be looking for high-quality and exciting unpublished research presented in a clear and appealing manner. Gather at the FEBS stand at 13:45 on the Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of the Congress for the announcement of winners. Daily winners will go forward for consideration for overall poster prizes of €200 each, to be presented at the Congress Closing Ceremony.

FEBS has twin commitments to high-quality publications and the promotion of molecular biosciences. As a charitable academic organization,
FEBS uses income from the journals to fund its diverse activities, including support for the FEBS Congress.
